   Heaven. Earth. Man (하늘.땅.사람) 

I was so thrilled to learn that the Goddess who created Jeju still very much alive in people's hearts.  Who would thought that you can see the giant rocks the Goddess used to play with in modern days.  Wherever you go, you can see HllaSan mountain which is located in the center of this island.  As if a mother holds her children in her arms,  I think Goddess of Jeju disguised as HllaSan and putting all people and nature in this island under her wings.

In this painting, I expressed harmony in heaven, earth, and man.

제주를 창조한 여신이 아직도 사람들 가슴속에 살아있다는 것을 배웠을때 내게는 매우 감동적이었다.  누가 현대에 여신이 가지고 놀았다는 공기돌을 볼 수 있다고 생각했겠는가.
제주도에서는 어디를 가나 한라산을 볼 수 있고 제주의 여신은 한라산의 모습으로  마치 어머니가 자식들을 보듬고 있는것 같이 여전히 제주인과 자연을 보듬고 있는것이 아닌가 생각한다.
