                                                                 군산, 달을 품다

I saw this view during a yacht tour in the area of JoonMoon.  Of course, there was no moon in the rainy afternoon.  However, the peak of the mountain seems like a concave that it looks like it can contain sun, moon, and stars.  One of the best thing being an artist is that we can use an "Artistic Licence" to create whatever we want to.  So here in this painting, using my artistic license, I brought a pale moon and have it nestled on the top of this mountain.  And it is actually called GoonSan Orum, a parasite volcano rather than a mountain.


이 풍경은 중문에서 요트로 여행하다가 보았다. 물론 비가 내리던 오후에 달은 없었다.  하지만 산의 꼭대기가 둥글게 움푹 파여있어 마치 그곳에 해나 달이나 별들을 담을 수 있을것처럼 보였다.  예술인으로서 가장 좋은점 중에 하나가 "예술 허가증"을 이용해서 우리가 원하는 것은 무엇이나 창조할 수 있다는 것이다.  그래서 이 그림에서 나는 "예술 허가증"을 써서 달을 가져와 산의 정상에 둥지를 틀게했다.  그리고 이것은 산이라기 보다는 오름으로서 군산 오름이란다.
