Over the Cliff

It is usually hard for me to get back to paint if I skip even one day.  That is why I try to make this one to be a daily work.

Sometimes painting comes out by itself without preconceived thoughts.  Then the process itself becomes a subject matter.  In this painting, I just let the painting reveals its own destiny.
I like this kind of painting because it gives more room for viewers to interpret on their own.

나는 하루만 그림을 쉬어도 다시 시작하는 것이 힘들다.  그래서 매일 그리고자 하는 것이다.

때로는 그림이 미리 생각 없이 그냥 그려지기도 한다.  그럴때는 작업과정 자체가 주제가 된다.  이 그림에서는 그림 스스로 의미를 드러내도록 허용했다.
나는 보는 사람들 스스로 각자 의미를 부여할 여지가 많은 이러한 그림을 좋아한다.
