Reminiscing Together

Sometimes I paint over the old painting to renew the life of the previous creation.  I placed an old painting upside down and keep looking at it for two days and all of sudden I found the shapes of two horses.  I had to bring these horses to an existence.  To me, these two horses seem to like enjoying reminiscing a shared memory together.

때로는 전에 만들었던 옛 그림 위에 재 생명력을 불어넣기 위해  새로운그림을 그린다.  나는 옛그림 하나를 거꾸로 놓고 이틀동안 들여다보고 있었는데 갑자기 두마리 말의 모양을 발견했다.  나는 이 말들을 존재케해야만 했다.  내게 이 두 말들은 서로 공유하고 있는 기억을 반추하는 것을 즐기는 것처럼 보인다.
