Spring Fragrance

I love freesia.  Freesia is one of the flowers let you know spring is at the corner after a long cold winter.
I had been waiting for a warm sunny day for an outing especially having a cold for about a month.  I felt good walking in the warm sun.  After a couple of errands, I stopped by a flower shop and bought a bouquet of yellow freesia as a gift to myself.  Because I wanted to celebrate new spring with this cheerful yellow flower with beautiful fragrance.  However, I was a bit disappointed by the fragrance is not that strong as I used to remember.  I guess because these flowers cultivated in the greenhouse.  And it reminds me a story about enlightened people would have a certain type of fragrance from their being.

I certainly want to be a being who has a wonderful fragrance.

나는 프레지아를 사랑한다.  프레지아는 추운 긴 겨울 뒤에 봄이 문턱에 왔다고 알려주는 꽃들 중에 하나이다.  나는 한달여동안의 감기때문이라도 외출을 위해 따스한 해가 가득한 날을 기다려 왔다.  따스한 햇빛을 받으며 걷는 것은 기분이 좋다.  몇가지 볼일을 보고 나는 꽃집에 들러 나에게 주는 선물로 프레지아 한다발을 샀다.  왜냐면 아름다운 향기를 가진 상큼한 프레지아로 새로운 봄을 경축하고 싶었기때문이다.  하지만 내가 기억하고 있던 만큼 향기가 강하지 않아서 조금 실망을 했다.  추측컨데 온실에서 키워졌기 때문이리라.  그리고 이것은 이야기 하나를 상기시켰는데 도가 튼 사람들이 그들의 존재에서 특정한 향기가 풍겨나온단다.

나도 당연히 좋은 향기를 가진 사람이 되고 싶다.
