                                                                    Treasure Hunt



I received a box full of presents from my dear friend today.  Among the many presents, there were beautiful coral and turquoise silver bracelets.  One has a design of feathers.  She said I am a free spirited person.  I felt so honored to hear that because I felt like I was bounded and restricted in this reality.  I have never received these many items at a time in my life, and I felt like a little girl who received Christmas presents for the first time.

In this painting, I wanted to express my joy and excitement of the treasure hunt.

오늘 나는 아주 소중한 친구로부터 상자 가득 담겨있는 선물을 받았다.  그 중에는 코럴과 터키오즈 돌이 박힌 은팔찌도 있었다.  하나에는 깃털 문양이 있다.  친구는 내가 자유로운 영혼이란다.  이 현실에서 묶이고 제한되어 있다고 생각했던 내게는 참으로소중한 말이다.
나는 여태 이렇게 많은 선물을 한꺼번에 받아본적이 없어서 나는 마치 처음으로 크리스마스 선물을 안겨받은 작은 여자 아이 같은 느낌이었다.

나는 이그림에서 보물을 찾 기쁨과 흥분을 표현했다.
